Next week, Monroe Pattillo will be honored at the Awards Gala during the 2017 HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Fla., for winning the 2016 ACCE-HIMSS Excellence in Clinical Engineering and Information Technology Synergies Award, a joint award sponsored by the American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE) and HIMSS.

The American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE) has published a survey designed to collect feedback about the scope of practice and knowledge for clinical engineers during their day-to-day work. The results of the 2015 Body of Knowledge survey will be used to design the Certification in Clinical Engineering exam.
