The American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE) has published a survey designed to collect feedback about the scope of practice and knowledge for clinical engineers in their day-to-day work. The results of the 2021 ACCE Body of Knowledge Survey will be compiled and analyzed by ACCE for use by the United States and Canadian Board of Examiners for Certification in Clinical Engineering in designing the Certification in Clinical Engineering (CCE) exam.

The organization says that participation from industry professionals is necessary to determine how the clinical engineering discipline is practiced today, and to ensure that the certification exam reflects the actual body of knowledge needed in the profession.

The 15-minute survey is available for completion on the ACCE website. It will remain open until August 15. In exchange for your time, you will be entered into a drawing to win one of three prizes: a one-year complimentary ACCE membership (new or renewal) or one of two $30 Amazon gift certificates.
