The Society for Vascular Ultrasound joins other sonography and ultrasound organizations in promoting Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month (MUAM) throughout October.
SVU’s online resource provides a number of ways to increase public knowledge about sonography and ultrasound, including free graphics for social media pages, along with the hashtag “MUAM14” to increase participation.
The site also includes a press release share with the media that highlights the importance of vascular ultrasound.
Also available are several patient guides for use within medical facilities. Topics include vascular testing, abdominal vascular arterial disease, and cerebrovascular disease.
