The Cooper Cancer Institute (CCI) at Cooper University Health Care, Camden, NJ, has recently added SenoBright contrast enhanced spectral mammography (CESM) technology for breast imaging from GE Healthcare, Waukesha, Wis. CCI will be the first in its region to offer SenoBright, which helps physicians reach definitive diagnostic decisions.
SenoBright gives clinicians a tool to help detect and diagnose breast cancer rapidly and accurately, even in the densest part of the breast. With the technology, physicians can perform additional tests on the same Senographe mammography system, see the results in a familiar context, and make confident diagnostic decisions by providing a contrast-enhanced image in the same position as the standard mammography views.
