The CE-IT Community, a joint effort of AAMI, ACCE, and HIMSS, has announced the first installment in its 2016 schedule of virtual town halls with a two-part series on cybersecurity. The free event will be held March 23 and 24 from 1 to 2 pm EST each day. Elliot Sloane, president of the Center for Health Information Research and Policy, will host and moderate the sessions.

The presentations will address an overview of the challenges associated with medical device cybersecurity, as well as specific guidance and tools to address these problems. Participants can register for Part 1 and Part 2 via these links.
