The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) has issued a call for nominations for openings on its Technology Management Council (TMC), a 24-member committee that represents the interests of biomedical equipment technicians, clinical engineers, and other HTM professionals.
According to AAMI, the TMC has produced and provided best practices, career guidance, and Joint Commission guidance.
In addition, AAMI is seeking volunteers to join the Healthcare Technology Leadership Committee. This committee promotes leadership qualities and helps advance the professional interests of members of the HTM field.
AAMI members interested in serving a 3-year term as a volunteer on either committee should send a résumé to Patrick Bernat at [email protected] by March 7, 2016.
