The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation has announced that through Wednesday, October 15, it is accepting “Bright Idea” nominations from departments or programs that manage healthcare technology. Nominations should “focus on actions a department or program has taken to tackle a specific problem or a new process that improved patient safety or efficiency,” the association says.
Six departments chosen by the Technology Management Council (TMC) be profiled in AAMI’s BI&T (Biomedical Instrumentation & Technology). One of those will be presented with an excellence award at AAMI’s annual conference next year.
Nominations may be made on the AAMI Bright Ideas submission page.
