Carestream Health announces new features on its latest RIS platform, Carestream RIS, such as radiation dose tracking, user alerts, and critical results notification.
Dose controls allow technologists to enter the dose of each exam, and the RIS issues an alert to the technologist if the dose is out of range. The RIS also collects and reports exposures for all exams. This system can be used to track radiologic imaging exams and radiation therapy treatment.

Additional Carestream RIS features seek to improve radiologists’ productivity, and include interactive voice dictation, voice command, and control and mouse-less reporting.
