The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) this month is releasing the CE Management Guide: Lessons from the Field, a searchable collection of nearly 200 clinical engineering-related articles published during the last decade in AAMI’s journal, BI&T.
The guide provides information on a range of key clinical engineering issues for clinical engineering managers and supervisors, and will serve as study tool for those preparing for the exam to become certified as a clinical engineer (CCE).
Topics range from benchmarking to productivity and quality management systems. Topic areas include technology management, service delivery management, product management, IT/telecom, education of others, risk management/safety, and general management. The guide has been peer reviewed.
