The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) has released an updated version of its CBET exam preparation resource. BMET Study Guide: Preparing for Certification, 2015 Edition includes 300 additional questions in the fields of anatomy and physiology, IT, medical equipment function and operation, healthcare facility safety, medical equipment problem solving, and electronics and electrical fundamentals.
The guide, in compact disc format, includes more than 800 interactive questions and answers with detailed explanations. Users can select the type and length of test and choose from two different test modes, opting to receive scored feedback (test mode) or clarification of their answer choices (learning mode). The study materials are geared toward both advanced and beginner users, and are sponsored by TriMedx, Stephens International Recruiting, and Universal Hospital Services.
The CD is compatible with Windows Vista, XP, 7 and 8. It has a list price of $99 for AAMI members and $165 for nonmembers, and is available through the AAMI store.
