Cumberland-based Advanced Radiology, which operates six multimodality imaging locations throughout Rhode Island, has installed Rayence’s new RU-3000 digital universal radiography system. The digital radiography U-arm marks Rayence’s first, fully software-driven U-arm installation in the United States.

“When purchasing imaging equipment, we make it our practice to choose a solution that best serves our diagnostic imaging needs through better patient care and optimized value,” says John Tkach, administrator of Advanced Radiology and Open MRI of New England. “The Rayence digital U-arm generates excellent image quality and increases our workflow efficiency by reducing patient exam and wait time,” he says.

The new digital x-ray unit went into operation in mid-March and is currently supporting all of the Cumberland location’s general radiography needs. The sale and installation of the RU-3000 was made possible through the efforts of Haverhill, Mass-based Associated X-ray Imaging Corp, an authorized Rayence dealer.
