CS Medical, Creedmore, NC, has released its 2015 products catalog dedicated to the testing, cleaning, disinfection, and storage of transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) ultrasound probes. The catalog features the company’s TD 100 Automated TEE Probe Disinfector, which are described as providing a “validated and repeatable high-level disinfection for ‘dirty’ TEE probes.” During the disinfection process, the company says, the TEE probe receives high-level disinfection in 5 minutes. Five complete rinse cycles follow before disinfection confirmation is acknowledged and a report is printed.
