September 30, 2013—In an email message sent today to clients and others, Manny Roman, president of DITEC Inc, Cleveland, announced that his company has entered into an agreement to be acquired by the Radiological Service Training Institute (RSTI), Solon, Ohio.

In the email, Roman explained that the unexpected death of DITEC cofounder and training manager Ed Kohut last April had a “great impact” on the imaging service training company and its staff.

Acknowledging that the aftermath of Kohut’s death left customers with “unanswered questions and concerns,” Roman positioned the acquisition as a strategy to help ensure DITEC’s customers will “seamlessly continue to have [their] training needs met.” Both Roman and DITEC vice president Joe Weidner, he said, will “assist RSTI in enhancing of marketing, course offerings, and support of industry associations and societies.”
