I have a GE Voluson 730 Pro and the machine tends to freeze up or reboot on its own while scanning. Only happens once a day so far. Also, when first starting up the machine, the machine does not remember the time and date. Please help, I really don’t want to opt into having to buy a new machine. –

I believe you have two separate issues. The system freezing during scanning is most likely the result of corrupted software. The Voluson used a hybrid mix of MS Windows and Linux as well as the ultrasound software. I recommend you have the software reloaded by a local ultrasound service company. The system losing the date and time daily is an indication of a low or dead bios battery on the SBC, or single board computer. You should have this replaced when the software reload is being performed.
