I have a GE Logic 9. When I turn on the machine, it boots up but automatically shuts down. There is a “chirping” sound coming from the back of the machine. I have to keep trying to turn it on for about an hour and then it will stay on. What could cause this problem? Does something need to be replaced? –
Usually, this indicates a problem with the power supply in the backend processor (BEPPS). If you can change it as a power supply unit that might work. If not, replace the backend processor as a whole assembly.
