How does a person that graduated 1 year ago with a diploma in medical imaging (GPA 3.12) get a job in a hospital when they have been working as a nuclear medicine test technician for 1 year?

Nuclear medicine repair has some unique challenges for the service professional. If the test technician has graduated from a medical imaging course and has been working as a test technician in nuclear med they would have been through the required material safety training. That being the case, I would approach one of the larger manufacturers such as GE, Philips, or Siemens for a position.

Having the basic education and experience should give the test technician a leg up in the selection process. I suggest going to a larger manufacturer for the enhanced training opportunities that would be available.
