After years of service, Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (CABMET) President Dave Scott and VP Robert Preston will vacate their positions to give others the opportunity to serve.

CABMET will fill the vacancies for the offices of president and VP at its January 2010 meeting. There is still time for interested parties to apply for the openings.

Those interested in running for either position should state their intentions on or before December 28 via an e-mail to the nomination committee, consisting of Fred Jaramillo, John Jetchick, Keith Mobley, and Frank Nickells.

In the first week of January, CABMET will release a ballot with candidate names on its Web site, along with instructions for members on how to submit their votes. The organization will announce the elections at the January meeting.
