Surgical service organization GreenTREe will celebrate the grand opening of its Lake Orion, Mich, facility on Friday, October 21. The two-hour event will begin at 9 am and will include an opening presentation by Michigan’s Oakland County executive L. Brooks Patterson, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, technology demonstrations, and a facility tour.

GreenTREe is a subsidiary of New Jersey-based TRE, which helps hospitals save money by providing repair management, Central Sterile consulting, and equipment sourcing services.

“GreenTREe is our medical manufacturing and re-engineering facility,” said TRE’s president and chief executive officer, Christian Mills. “GreenTREe will lead the medical device industry’s development of more sustainable and responsible solutions in health care.”
