The Arkansas Association for Healthcare Engineering (AAHE) will hold its winter meeting on February 7 at the Gilbreath Conference Center in Little Rock, Ark. AAHE president Wesley Trussell will offer opening remarks.
In a facility/safety session titled “Reduce Temperature Variation for Inpatient Rooms,” speaker Robert Ray, the assistant chancellor for operations maintenance at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), will discuss how to apply Lean Six Sigma tools to facility operations. York Chan, a facilities administrator from Oak Brook, Ill, will also speak about best practices for communicating with senior management and C-suite executives.
