Centurion Service Group, in partnership with Auction Advisors, announced an online auction for the liquidation of medical and non-medical assets from Fromer Eye Centers.
The timed online auction is scheduled for May 5-7. Fromer Eye Centers, an ophthalmology provider in the New York City area, is closing, and the sale is being conducted through an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors.
Available Ophthalmology and Optometry Equipment
The sale includes various optometry and ophthalmic surgical equipment, such as Ophthalmic Exam Lanes, Alcon Centurion Phaco Machines, Alcon Constellation Phaco Machines, and Zeiss Opmi Lumera 700 Surgical Microscopes.
Other assets featured in the auction include:
- Stryker 5051 Eye Stretchers
- Zeiss IOL Masters and Visucams
- Zeiss Humphrey Analyzers
- Slit Lamps and autorefractors
- Zeiss optical coherence tomography systems
The auction also offers hundreds of surgical instrumentation sets, which the company says in a release present an opportunity for surgery centers and ophthalmologists to upgrade or expand capabilities at a fraction of replacement cost.
Logistics and Inspection Details
All assets have been deinstalled and moved to the Centurion Service Group warehouse in Franklin Park, Illinois. This centralized location is intended to support inspections, logistics, and post-sale fulfillment.
