Mark J. Forchette this month was named as the new president and CEO of Plymouth, Mich-based Delphinus Medical Technologies, manufacturer of the SoftVue breast imaging system. Delphinus Medical Technologies is backed financially by Arboretum Ventures and Beringea.

SoftVue is a whole breast ultrasound system that utilizes a circular transducer technology to transmit and receive ultrasound signals. The system captures reflection echoes from all directions around the breast and gathers transmitted signals coming through the breast, offering a scan time of 1 to 2 minutes per breast.
