Sectra, a medical IT company, announced the sales and installation of Sectra DoseTrack at the five Connecticut hospitals within Hartford HealthCare (HHC).
“Sectra DoseTrack was an optimal choice for Hartford HealthCare. The software is highly configurable and provides dose reports at both the hospital and enterprise level,” said Gary Dee, MD, chairman of radiology. “This will enable us to benchmark best practices between our hospitals and further our position in providing safe and leading patient care.”
Sectra DoseTrack, the company’s radiation dose monitoring system, accepts data from multiple sources, including all modalities capable of recording and sending dose information, the EMR, the RIS, and the PACS. Robust analysis capabilities for dose optimization and consideration of patient size and demographics allow for effective organ dose calculations and patient risk assessment.
