The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published NEMA/MITA XR 30-2016 Quality Control Tools for Digital Projection Radiography, a new standard that defines a set of minimum requirements to facilitate health care provider quality control of digital projection radiography. The Computed Radiography-Digital Radiography Group of the X-ray Imaging Section of the Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance, a division of NEMA, developed the standard for x-ray diagnostic imaging, medical digital radiography, and radiography. In other NEMA news, the NEMA Board of Governors has elected four new members to the board, including Annette Kay Clayton, CEO and president of North American operations and chief supply chain officer for Schneider Electric, Schneider Electric North America; Lee Cooper, president and CEO of GE Healthcare U.S. & Canada; Jack Nehling, president of Phoenix Contact USA; and Rich Stinson, president and CEO of Southwire Company.
