Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (CABMET) is hosting an essay contest to send one dedicated biomed on a trip to the AAMI conference in Tampa, Fla, this June.
CABMET is looking for biomeds that have elevated the profession, made a positive contribution to their medical community, or for an individual that hopes to bring knowledge back from AAMI to help CABMET.
The contest is open to all current paid CABMET members. The winning essayist will receive registration for the AAMI conference, as well as airfare, hotel, and ground transportation to and from the hotel.
Essays should be between 500 and 1000 words, typed, and e-mailed to [email protected]. Entries must be received by April 16th 2010, and the winner will be announced at the May 20 CABMET meeting.
