Appleton, Wis.-based Technical Prospects announced that it has achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification. The company, which recently celebrated 20 years of operation, specializes in Siemens medical imaging equipment.
According to company officials, Technical Prospects is committed to providing customers with quality Siemens medical imaging parts, training, and support. To accomplish this goal, Technical Prospects uses quality assurance procedures to include: testing parts on complete systems in quality assurance bays, running multiple electronic tests, and visually inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications before placing them in the hands of customers.
Officials say Technical Prospects also showcases the company’s commitment to quality via its electrostatic discharge (ESD) prevention measures. Team members wear ESD grounding devices in every step of part preparation from harvesting to shipping in order to protect parts from electrostatic damage.
Technical Prospects’ commitment to quality continues with its training program that is ISO 9001:2015 certified, officials add. Training courses, which are led by industry professionals, offer a blend of classroom lecture and hands-on lab training.
Recent student Roy Morris, director of biomedical engineering at the International Children’s Heart Foundation, comments: “Technical Prospects has one of the best training labs I have seen with world-class instructors. The training is very organized and methodical with full-hands-on-training.”
Technical support is another ISO-certified service provided by the company. And being certified in ISO 9001:2015 is another testament to the company’s focus on quality, Technical Prospects officials say.
