The Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians has sent a request on behalf of Project CURE for biomed volunteers to assist in checking equipment, beginning this weekend, Saturday, September 8 at 8 am.

Currently, a large number of HP patient monitors need to be prepared for shipment along with many other quality pieces of equipment. A lab will be set up this weekend and is open to all in the area who can help. A donation of testing equipment would also be appreciated.

Additional open dates and times are: Saturday, September 8 from 8 am to 2 pm; Saturday, September 22, from 8 am to 2 pm. By appointment, volunteers can help any weekday between 8 am and 5 pm, and Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Project CURE collects donated medical supplies and equipment and aid physicians and medical projects in developing countries. The time commitment is flexible and it has a new location in Centennial, Colo, at 10377 E Geddes Ave. To volunteer at Project CURE, contact Michael Young at (720) 341-3152 or via e-mail.
