Unfors RaySafe (formerly Unfors Instruments) has announced its RaySafe X2 Prestige System. The tool comprises a base unit and sensors for radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F), mammography, and computed tomography, along with a light sensor for testing monitors. Sensors intake data pertaining to dose, dose rate, kVp, HVL, total filtration, exposure time, pulse, pulse rate, dose/frame, mA, mAs and the corresponding waveforms with a single measurement.
The touchscreen displays up to 12 parameters simultaneously, while the base unit can accommodate up to 10,000 measurements, providing convenient comparison with previous results. The Prestige’s predecessor, the RaySafe X2, debuted last year with only R/F sensors. Unfors will showcase the RaySafe X2 Prestige System at the Radiological Society of North America in Chicago December 1 – 6 in South Building, Hall A, Booth 2929.
