Allia Celeo, shown at TCT 2026, pairs an extra-wide-bore C-arm with dose-managing image chain and predictive service support.
GE HealthCare introduced Allia Celeo, a ceiling-mounted image guiding system, at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2026 conference in San Diego. The company says the system is built for interventional suites that prioritize high patient throughput and versatility across many indications.
The system combines an extra-wide-bore C-arm, a user interface, an AI-powered image chain, and compatibility with OnWatch Predict remote monitoring. GE HealthCare says the goal is to help cardiology and interventional radiology teams move through each stage of a procedure without losing momentum.
โEvery interventional suite has its own rhythm, and care teams need a system that adapts to the way they work rather than the other way around,โ says Jyoti Gera, CEO of cardiovascular and interventional solutions in advanced imaging solutions at GE HealthCare, in a release. โAllia Celeo extends our Allia platform with a ceiling-mounted system built for that kind of flexibility, giving hospitals more choice in how they configure their interventional suites.โ
Allia Celeo is CE marked. It is 510(k) pending with the US Food and Drug Administration and may not be available in all regions.
Design and Workflow Features
The system has a slim, symmetrical ceiling gantry with integrated cabling, which provides space around the system for staff and equipment. Its extra-wide bore is designed to let the C-arm rotate freely around the patient and reach steep angulations, including for patients with a high body mass index. A slim C-arm and thin detector lift are intended to limit visual obstruction so team members can see and communicate with one another across the table.
Fast ceiling panning and extended table coverage support imaging from head to toe. The InnovaBreeze feature uses automatic table and gantry movements to support assessment of the full lower-limb anatomy in a single acquisition.
Clinicians can adjust gantry and table positions from multiple locations, and an on-screen digital twin is designed to help optimize positioning. Personalized controls and layouts are intended to let users tailor the system to their workflow.
โWe designed Allia Celeo around a simple idea: a procedure should move at the pace of the care team, not the equipment,โ says Kat Davis, general manager of interventional solutions for cardiovascular and interventional solutions in advanced imaging solutions at GE HealthCare, in a release. โFrom a digital twin that previews gantry positioning to an image chain that manages dose in the background, each element is intended to reduce the small interruptions that add up over a day in the interventional suite, so clinicians can stay focused on their patients.โ
AI-Enabled Image Chain and Compatibility
The system uses an image chain that includes AI-enabled features designed to support decision-making across patient anatomies and clinical complexities. The image chain is designed to automatically adjust acquisition parameters to deliver consistent image quality at the lowest dose, according to GE HealthCare. Advanced image rendering provides one-click access to cardiac image renderings designed to match each operatorโs preference.
Allia Celeo is designed to be compatible with cleared GE HealthCare solutions for coronary and structural heart procedures. These include:
- StentViz and 3DStent for stent visualization
- Valve ASSIST 2 for structural heart planning
- The cleared Mac-Lab hemodynamic system with integrated FFR and dPR indexes
For interventional radiology and oncology, compatible tools include Embo ASSIST AI for embolization planning, Vessel ASSIST for 3D roadmapping, and Needle ASSIST for needle guidance. The system also supports integration with Vscan Air handheld ultrasound and compatible third-party intravascular imaging and physiology systems. GE HealthCare says it is built with the flexibility to support future solutions.
Allia Celeo is designed to be compatible with OnWatch Predict, which combines 24/7 remote monitoring with deep learning-based predictive analytics to anticipate unplanned downtime and support proactive service planning. The company says the aim is to minimize disruptions to clinical operations and support more predictable patient schedules.
Allia Celeo is the second new system in the Allia family introduced in less than a year, following the floor-mounted Allia Moveo, which was unveiled in 2025 and commercially launched earlier this year. GE HealthCare also offers an upgrade program that brings the latest Allia platform advancements to existing customers.
