GE Healthcare has unveiled ViewPoint 2007, a comprehensive data management solution for ob-gyn practices, vascular labs, and diagnostic ultrasound users. The system combines reporting and image archiving for clinicians, while also helping to make ultrasound workflow quicker and easier.
The system improves workflow by including a split-screen mode and dual monitor support, which allows for the simultaneous display of images and reports on one or two monitors. This advance coupled with a higher resolution and a new onscreen look also allows for easy side-by-side image comparison.
The system lets users view reports—including images and charts—from HIS/EMR or PACS workstations to provide patient information and then export them via PDF to HIS/EMR, or via DICOM to PACS.
GE’s latest development in service technology, InSite with ExC, enables remote monitoring, real-time application support, problem diagnosis and repair of GE equipment.
