GE Healthcare has received FDA clearance for the latest version of its Vivid E9 Cardiovascular Ultrasound system. The new system features XDclear technology and is designed to enhance image quality in 2D, 4D, color, and Doppler; shorten exam times; and enhance diagnostic confidence in the adult and pediatric echo labs during interventions and in operating rooms.
The system includes a new application call Polar Vision, which is designed to enhance communication in the cath lab or operating room by combining polarized stereo with depth rendering on a dedicated 3D monitor.
