Indianapolis-based Axess Ultrasound, a Medxcel company that provides ultrasound service, ultrasound technician training, and probe and system repair, has announced David Gloudemans as its director of operations. In his new role at Axess, Gloudemans will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including logistics, production, materials management, research and development, quality, and sales forecasting.
According to the Axess announcement, Gloudemans is an operations industry veteran with more than 30 years’ experience at organizations such as Kraft, Amazon, and Uniroyal Engineered Products. He earned a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Gloudemans is also reported to hold a Six Sigma Green Belt, a special certification conferred on someone who “analyzes and solves quality problems, and is involved in quality improvement projects.”
“David’s extensive experience in operations, distribution, product development, and engineering, and his desire to provide superior customer service, makes him an excellent addition to the Axess Ultrasound team,” said Christine Wright, executive director of Axess Ultrasound.
