The first North American installation of the Trinias C-12 high-performance digital angiography “cross-over” system from Shimadzu Medical Systems USA was completed at the First Coast Heart and Vascular Center in Jacksonville, Fla. According to Shimadzu Medical’s announcement, as a crossover, the Trinias C-12 can perform both vascular and cardiac interventional examinations. At First Coast Heart and Vascular Center, the ceiling-mounted Trinias C-12 is equipped with a 58-inch Eizo 8MP display monitor and a Mennen Hemodynamic system.

The Trinias C-12 features seven radiation dose-reduction features, making it possible to produce high-quality images with a minimum of radiation dose exposure, the company says. Its Score Pro imaging processing technology is said to enhance fluoroscopic images and provide multiple specialized functions to help expedite exam procedures.
