SeQual Technologies Inc, a developer of oxygen systems, made a $3,800 donation to the Third Annual Mac Kline Golf Classic held April 6 to support research on congenital heart defects.
The tournament is named for 15-year-old top-five rated amateur golfer MacKinzie “Mac” Kline. Kline was born with a congenital heart defect that results in low levels of oxygenation throughout her body.
In order to compete, she uses SeQual’s Eclipse Oxygen System on the course and has approval to use the backpack-sized device in Lady’s Professional Golf Association events.
Kline’s goal is to raise $1 million for Children’s Heart Foundation by the end of the year and she is already three-quarters of the way there.
