Novarad, American Fork, Utah, has integrated NovaPro, its Web-based teleradiology radiology information system and picture archiving and communication system (RIS/PACS), with Emory Teleradiology, a service of Emory Healthcare that serves 15 non-Emory facilities.
NovaPro, a complete RIS and PACS, is available as an installed system or SaaS, designed specifically for radiology groups. NovaPro can receive and display DICOM images from unlimited, unaffiliated image-producing practices. Users can distribute reports via e-mail, fax, or direct HL7 messaging to a HIS, RIS or EMR/EHR.
The Teleradiology program at Emory offers a wide range of radiology services available for 24-hour coverage for subspecialties including musculoskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, and molecular imaging.
