Spacelabs Healthcare launches a new cardiology information management system (CIMS), Sentinel, designed for easy integration with existing EMR and Hospital Information Systems for improved connectivity of patient records.
The Sentinel system integrates reports from the entire range of noninvasive diagnostic cardiology modalities, from Holter and ambulatory BP monitoring to 12-lead Resting ECG and ECG stress testing, and organizes and stores data and in a central, networked database.
A fully scalable solution, Sentinel is Networkable and compatible with existing 12-lead ECG carts. The system can also store 12-lead ECG reports from Spacelabs Ultraview SL patient monitors or other resting 12-lead ECG systems.
Clinicians can use the system to gain immediate access to complete patient information at any location—via hospital workstations or the Web.
