Three hospitals and an imaging center in California have acquired radiology technology from Novarad Corp, American Fork, Utah.
Alhambra Hospital Medical Center in Alhambra, Mountains Community Hospital in Lake Arrowhead, and Tehachapi Hospital in Tehachapi installed NovaPACS, while Pasadena-based Medical Imaging installed NovaPACS and NovaRIS. The health care centers chose the systems to increase efficiencies. Referring physicians at Alhambra wanted to access images remotely. Mountains Community and Pasadena needed a customizable workflow feature.
Novarad has more than 850 installations worldwide. Images and reports are available anytime, anywhere, via the full diagnostic viewer, iPad, or any mobile device with Web access.
