Ransom Memorial Hospital (RMH), Ottawa, Kan., has selected Intelerad Medical Systems for its medical imaging platform.
“By deploying Intelerad’s enterprise imaging platform, we look forward to improving our overall quality and performance,” says Doug Rich, chief operating officer at Ransom Memorial Hospital. “Not only will the platform allow us to provide our radiologists and referring physicians with quicker and easier access to patient images and reports, but it will also allow us to expand the services we provide in areas such as breast imaging.”
RMH is an acute care facility that provides a wide range of outpatient and surgical healthcare services to Franklin County and the surrounding areas. In addition to opening the RMH Cancer Care earlier this year, RMH is currently expanding the hospital’s emergency department to manage increased volume demands. The expansion includes an increase in emergency treatment rooms, which includes new critical treatment rooms and trauma rooms.
“Ransom Memorial has long been regarded for its patient care standards,” says Randall Oka, president and CEO of Intelerad. “By replacing their legacy system with Intelerad’s enterprise imaging platform, their radiology department will be able to leverage a modular suite of solutions with state-of-the-art features and functionality.”
