Replacement parts can occupy a gray area in the world of HTM. It can be difficult to ensure that such a part won't compromise patient safety or cause a device to malfunction. During a recent session at AAMI, Ken Maddock and Pat Baird addressed these and other concerns surrounding replacement parts.
