Led by Dustin Telford and Alberto Vasquez, the upcoming series will spotlight HTM professionals bringing fresh ideas and practical solutions to the field.
A new series coming to 24×7 will highlight healthcare technology management (HTM) professionals whose ideas are making a difference in their departments and across the field.
Innovators in HTM, developed and led by 24×7 advisory board member Dustin Telford, principal of Healthcare Technology Strategies, and Alberto Vasquez, founder and CEO of VasCorp Clinical Engineering, will introduce readers to professionals with practical ideas, whether a process fix, tool, program, or better way to handle a problem every department faces.
Telford developed the idea following discussions about editorial priorities for 2027, including leadership development and opportunities to elevate emerging voices in the profession.
Each installment will feature an HTM professional and explore an idea they have developed, implemented, or hope to pursue. Through interviews conducted by Telford and Vasquez, readers will learn about the individual’s background, the challenge behind their idea, and lessons other departments can apply.
The series will focus on professionals who may not yet be widely recognized in the field, including bench technicians, field service engineers, cybersecurity and integration specialists, and new supervisors.
Nominate an Innovator in HTM
Telford and Vasquez are seeking nominations for HTM professionals with ideas worth sharing. Nominees can be at any career level and do not need to hold leadership positions or have widespread industry recognition. Self-nominations are welcome.
Nominations will be reviewed by Telford and Vasquez, who will select and interview professionals for upcoming installments.
The first installment is planned for the November/December 2026 digital issue of 24×7, with additional profiles to follow in 2027.
Submit a nomination for Innovators in HTM.
