In line with its strategy to boost international and emerging-market sales, Sonora Medical Systems, Longmont, Colo, has promoted two key managers to departmental director posts. The company furnishes after-market products, services, and test equipment to the medical-imaging market.
Ken Maydew, who has served as Sonora’s national sales manager since 2005, has been named senior director of business development. He will concentrate on cementing relationships with major hospital groups and developing new markets and product alliances with partners.
Don Patterson, who has been promoted several times since joining Sonora in 1998 as the business-to-business sales manager, was named senior director of international sales and emerging markets.
The company plans to increase its international and emerging-market sales revenue to 25% of its overall sales by 2010.
