On August 21, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) renewed its alliance with The Joint Commission and Joint Commission Resources (JCR) to improve safety for healthcare workers. OSHA will work with JCR, the official publisher and educator of The Joint Commission, to provide information, guidance, and access to training resources.
The primary goal of the Alliance, which was first established in 2004, is to raise awareness of OSHA’s rulemaking and enforcement initiatives. The agreement will remain in effect for 5 years. For more information, visit the OSHA website.
