The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) has adopted IEC 62366, the internationally recognized human factors process standard.
IEC 62366 will replace AAMI’s current human factors process standard HE74. The new standard seeks to help manufacturers incorporate greater usability into device design.
IEC 62366 acts as a companion to HE75, which serves as a reference on numerous human factors topics, such as visual displays, packaging design, and general design principles.
