As the October 31 kickoff date for its annual symposium approaches, the Florida Biomedical Society is putting the final touches on its extensive 2-day education schedule. Sessions on Friday, November 1, include an all-day seminar on the principles of ESU technical service and 3-hour classes on digital mammography, nuclear medicine, contrast injectors, and ultrasound PM. Shorter and more numerous sessions on Saturday include topics such as security, defibrillator testing, and best practices in safety alerts management.

The vendor expo, featuring more than 60 exhibitors, is open on Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, and on Saturday from noon to 1:30 pm and from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
