Colorado-based Echoserve, Hospital Shared Services (HSS) of Colorado, and Sonora Medical Systems are sponsoring the Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (CABMET) study group this spring to prepare technicians for the ICC certification test for CBET on May 3, 2008.
The meetings will be held from March 20 to May 1 at the HSS corporate office in Denver and will be available via teleconference so technicians nationwide can participate.
Topics include medical equipment function and operation, safety in the health care environment, anatomy and physiology, medical equipment problem solving and fundamentals of electricity, and test-taking skills.
March 14 is the deadline for returning the application form. For more information, contact David Scott, CBET, CABMET president, at (720) 777-6312 or via e-mail at [email protected].
CABMET is a non-profit professional association of biomedical equipment technicians.
