On September 9, 2015, invitations for 24×7‘s annual salary survey were sent to the magazine’s readers. Results of the questionnaire, addressing compensation and job satisfaction for HTM professionals employed full-time in the United States, will be published in the December issue.
For the first time, this year’s survey also inquires about the number of years respondents expect to continue working in the field before they retire. Last year’s survey revealed that more than half of participants were age 50 or older, continuing a trend identified in the 2013 survey. The graying of the workforce, and the challenge of recruiting younger biomeds to the field, has been previously identified by readers as one of the profession’s key challenges.
The survey will close for tabulation on September 21.
