The services are available for Southeastern Biomedical customers located throughout the southeastern United States. All calibration standards are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
According to an announcement from the company, the on-site testing is intended to help biomedical departments reduce downtime and save on shipping costs. The new service can also help eliminate damage to testing equipment caused by shipping and increase productivity.
Southeastern Biomedical also offers calibration management software that will prompt users when equipment is due for calibration. It can also provide a history of all calibration and repair services performed on the test equipment.
