Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans has installed the Infinix DP-i from Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc, a single-system solution for both cardiac and peripheral applications that allows the facility to freely move the x-ray system around the patient, clinicians, and equipment.
The Infinix DP-i installed at Ochsner features two C-arms—an 8 inch x 8 inch flat panel detector for cardiac and a 12 inch x 16 inch flat panel detector for peripherals, such as carotids, renals, and legs—allowing clinicians to use the detector most appropriate for the exam. The system utilizes Toshiba’s proprietary Next Generation AIP technology.
