Is there room for multiple vendors offering ultrasound repair in this area? Who would be our competition? When is Conquest offering ultrasound classes and what is the cost? Thanks. –

The maintenance and repair of medical equipment has benefited from the recessionary marketplace. More emphasis is being placed on extending the life of existing diagnostic imaging equipment including ultrasound systems. With a strong business ethic and a solid reputation I would think there would be additional service opportunities in the Atlanta area. Vendors that provide ultrasound service in Georgia would include Bridgeway Medical, Diversified Medical Technologies Inc, Medical Ultrasound Service Inc, and Sonodepot. Additionally, hospitals with strong clinical engineering groups are beginning to take maintenance and repair in-house.
