Mindray, Mahwah, N.J., will attend the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) 106th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, November 29–December 5. During this year’s virtual event, Mindray will highlight its comprehensive portfolio of radiology ultrasound machines through an immersive and interactive virtual reality (VR) platform.
“With COVID-19 challenging every aspect of healthcare and forcing many to rethink the ‘normal’ way of doing things, Mindray’s mission has become more important than ever before,” says director of marketing, ultrasound, Maher Elhihi. “Mindray was founded on the dream of increasing access to outstanding care by providing accessible, relevant medical devices that exceed clinicians’ expectations and needs. Our team is determined to ensure our frontline heroes and their patients have the tools they need; and while many things have changed in 2020, Mindray’s vision has not. We will continue to drive our vision of better healthcare for all forward.”
RSNA Virtual Reality Experience
Mindray will be debuting a one-of-a-kind VR experience at RSNA 2020. This virtual format provides healthcare professionals from around the world the opportunity to explore Mindray’s latest solutions from the comfort of their home or office.
Once an attendee enters the experience, they will be transported to a “Mindray Hospital” where they can explore Mindray’s radiology ultrasound solutions in the departments in which they are used: Radiology/Imaging and Interventional Radiology. There is no special technology needed; the VR experience is desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile-friendly. Ultrasound team members and experts will be available throughout the duration of the exhibit to address any questions or comments from attendees.
