Making its debut at the Anesthesiology 2014 annual meeting last October, the Flex Focus 400 exp ultrasound system from Analogic Corp is intended to expand the company’s portfolio into the high-end ultrasound market segment.
Designed for point of care applications including anesthesia, pain management, musculoskeletal, and emergency medicine, the Flex Focus exp features a dedicated range of transducers from 18–2 mhz; unique one-button transducer control to freeze, print and store images; and advanced needle guides and easy disinfection and sterilization.
According to Analogic, the compact system is easy to maneuver in tight spaces and offers up to 4 hours of plug-free imaging.
